The Ocean Decides, Not the Clock
Our surf sessions are scheduled according to the best wave, tide and wind conditions to give you the best possible surfing experience in Morocco. Most surf lessons take place after breakfast but depending on the conditions, we may start with an early morning surf followed by a relaxed brunch or head out for a sunset session.
Every day is different. That’s the beauty of surfing.
Khalid & His Surf Team
Surfing has been part of Khalid’s life since he was seven years old.
Born and raised on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, he grew up in the waves long before surfing became popular in the region. The ocean was his playground, his classroom and eventually his profession.
Today Khalid leads the surf program at Blue Mind and mentors our team of instructors. Having spent a lifetime in the water, he knows the surf spots of the Moroccan coast inside out and carefully selects the best location each day based on the conditions and the level of the group.
All our surf coaches have been trained and guided by Khalid over the years, sharing the same passion for the ocean and commitment to helping others progress in the water.
Our instructors speak four languages but surfing is the one they speak best. Whether you’re catching your first whitewater wave or drawing clean lines across an open wave face, there is always something they can share with you.
Their English may not be perfect but they grew up with the ocean.
Surfing here is not just a holiday activity. It’s part of everyday life. You won’t just learn how to stand up on a surfboard. You’ll learn how to read the sea, understand the conditions and experience the rhythm of Morocco’s Atlantic coast.
